Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using Cella (“the Service”), provided by Floor No 8 SRL (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Cella is a formative writing intelligence platform. It uses generative AI (Claude by Anthropic) not to write for you, but to help you become a better writer. The Service includes:

• Writing Continuum: a 4-phase writing surface (Seed, Grow, Write, Mirror) with Inception Hub for idea clustering, Scaffold for structural coaching, and a distraction-free writing canvas.
• Guardian: cognitive analysis of your writing across 200+ heuristics — structural strength, voice coherence, argument architecture.
• Ghost: a real-time companion that offers observations and structural suggestions when explicitly requested. Ghost never writes in your voice or inserts text into your document.
• Scaffold & Refine: structural coaching (beat cards, argument arcs) and revision analysis that shows what each edit changes.
• Voice Profile & Thinking Mirror: an 847-point linguistic fingerprint and cognitive pattern reflection — how you write, not what you write.
• Sovereign Fitness Index (SFI): a score measuring your cognitive independence as a writer across 6 dimensions, with 5 tiers from Dependent to Legendary.
• Sovereign Memo: an exportable credential that crystallises your writing journey with a verification token for authenticity proof.
• Growth Timeline: tracks your voice evolution and cognitive development over time.

Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you create using Cella. We claim no intellectual property rights over your writing, drafts, notes, Inception sparks, or any creative output produced while using the Service. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing Cella features (Guardian analysis, Ghost sessions, Voice Profile computation, SFI scoring, and Sovereign Memo generation).

Subscriptions & billing

• Free trial: 14 days with full access to all features. No credit card required to start.
• Pro subscription: €9.99/month or €99.99/year, billed through Stripe.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
• Refunds: we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase.

Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate content that violates applicable laws.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of the Service, including the SFI scoring system, 847-point voice fingerprinting, and Formativ Memory Layers.

AI-powered features

Cella’s formative tools (Guardian, Ghost, Scaffold, Refine, Thinking Mirror) provide observations and suggestions powered by AI. These outputs are guidance designed to develop your writing skills. They should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to incorporate any AI-generated suggestions into your work. Ghost never writes in your voice — all words in your document are yours.

Intellectual property

The Cella platform, including its proprietary algorithms (Sovereign Fitness Index, 847-point voice fingerprinting, Formativ Memory Layers, IKEA Effect gamification system), user interface design, Observatory aesthetic, and Sovereign Memo format are the intellectual property of Floor No 8 SRL. All rights reserved.

Availability and changes

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floor No 8 SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, in accordance with European Union regulations including GDPR. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
